Add Your Image Add the image that you want to turn to winter time. Add the Falling Snow Textures Add these falling snow texture overlays. You can resize, rotate the textures. You can use all three textures or only one. Falling Snow Texture 1 Falling Snow Texture 2 Falling Snow Texture 3 Set the Blend Mode to Screen Set the blend mode of the snow overlay layers to Screen . Add a Gradient Map to Create the Winter Effect Add a Gradient Map adjustment layer using these colors: #000000 (location 5%), #6892a6 (location 38%) and #ffffff (location 81%).  You might have to change the location of the colors if you are using other image.  The Final Result So here is the final result for the winter snow photo effect transformation made in Photoshop.
